Position SummaryÂ
The Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) is responsible for the overall leadership, operational management, regulatory compliance, and financial performance of the Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF). This role ensures delivery of high-quality resident care while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. The Administrator serves as the executive leader of the facility and is accountable for clinical outcomes, workforce stability, financial stewardship, and resident satisfaction.Â
Key ResponsibilitiesÂ
Operational LeadershipÂ
- Provide day-to-day executive oversight of all facility operations.Â
- Lead interdisciplinary teams to ensure resident-centered care.Â
- Ensure staffing models align with census and budget targets.Â
- Promote accountability and engagement culture.Â
Regulatory Compliance & Risk ManagementÂ
- Ensure compliance with CMS, state regulations, and OSHA/MiOSHA.Â
- Lead state and federal survey processes.Â
- Oversee Plan of Correction (POC) execution.Â
- Manage risk and compliance reporting.Â
Financial ManagementÂ
- Manage facility operating budget.Â
- Monitor labor costs, census, and financial performance.Â
- Drive cost containment and revenue optimization.Â
Workforce LeadershipÂ
- Lead recruitment, retention, and engagement strategies.Â
- Oversee HR functions with HRBP support.Â
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and union agreements.Â
Clinical QualityÂ
- Partner with Director of Nursing to ensure clinical excellence.Â
- Monitor quality measures and Five-Star ratings.Â
- Address infection control and readmission trends.Â
Census & Community RelationsÂ
- Drive census growth through partnerships and outreach.Â
- Maintain relationships with residents and families.Â
- Ensure high satisfaction levels.Â
Corporate AlignmentÂ
- Report operational and financial performance to RDO.Â
- Execute corporate initiatives and policies.Â
Emergency PreparednessÂ
- Ensure emergency preparedness compliance.Â
- Lead response to crises and emergencies.Â

QualificationsÂ
