About the Opportunity

The Marketing Communications Specialist supports the development and execution of internal and external communications, including newsletters, organizational announcements, M&A activity, and marketing collateral, while supporting lead generation initiatives. This role produces consistent, engaging messaging that strengthens brand presence and aligns with business goals. Additionally, this role will be critical in supporting overall growth within our business.

Key Responsibilities: Internal and External Communication

  • Produce and deliver communications across internal and external channels.
  • Write and coordinate internal communications, including employee messaging and engagement initiatives.
  • Develop external communications such as announcements, press materials, and brand messaging.
  • Plan, write, and distribute internal and external newsletters.
  • Create and maintain marketing collateral for presentations, sales collateral, brochures.
  • Support Lead Generation Specialist through content creation (emails, landing pages, etc).
  • Create consistent messaging across all platforms and audiences.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in communications or content marketing.
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related role.
  • Strong writing, editing, and content development skills.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite for developing and editing marketing and communications materials.
  • Ability to translate complex ideas into clear, engaging, and visually compelling messaging.
  • Experience managing multiple communication channels and projects.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation and CRM tools preferred.
  • Service industry experience (fire protection or security a plus).

Compensation & Location

  • This is a salaried position - $90,000–$100,000 with potential quarterly bonuses
  • Onsite preferred at Novi, MI location. Candidates will also be considered for our locations in MD, NJ, NY, PA, VA, OH, and IN.
