Join the Orotex Team, Join the Orotex Family! 2nd shift Position: 3PM - 11:30PM Purpose of the Position: Accurately pick, stage, move and package finished good per customer orders by safely using a forklift and performing regular manual labor. Duties and Responsibilities Safely operate forklift and other material-handling equipment to accurately prepare orders for shipment per customer specifications. Manually load and unload material, pallets, and containers. Verify product quantities, part numbers, and quality before staging for shipment. Rotate stock to insure first-in-first-out (FIFO) Safely load and unload trucks using forklift when needed. Complete all necessary paperwork and maintain accurate inventory records within our WMS system. Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of PPE Keep workstation clean, organized, and free of hazards Cross train in other areas and assist with general warehouse or manufacturing tasks as needed. Qualifications Basic math and counting skills Detailed oriented, organized, and motivated Ability to count and use scales Ability to understand spoken and written English Previous forklift experience or certification required Ability to work overtime and needed Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Reliable attendance and strong work ethic High School Diploma or GED Physical Requirements Ability to sit or stand for 8 plus hours daily Ability to use both hand, wrists, and arms with continual motion Ability to push, pull, grasp, and reach objects Ability to lift 30 plus pounds repeatedly Ability to bend, stoop and walk frequently Working Conditions Temperature controlled manufacturing setting. Exposure to moving equipment and machinery.
