Objective of the Position: Primary function is to manage the EBIT for the customer business unit. Provide input to customer strategy and rough planning.
Essential Accountabilities: The position incumbent ensures, that
- Accept or reject a program/program portfolio at program kickoff based on goals set by the ECE.
- Customer strategy development.
- Direct program management methodology in direct report group.
- Facilitate the continuation of program management and enterprise implementation.
- Manage and grow customer relations.
- Manage quote activity for new business.
- Manage the EBIT and deviations from target. This includes risk management, milestone management and open issues management.
- Monitor and report out adherence of program management methodology for indirect reports.
Secondary Accountabilities: The position incumbent ensures, that
- Conduct all business-related activities for, and on the behalf of, Purem / Eberspaecher within the limits of applicable local, state, and federal legal requirements.
- Provide support to, and compliance with, all local and corporate Purem / Eberspaecher Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies, procedures and other HSE related requirements.
- Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and follows all Purem / Eberspaecher polices related to TS16949 and ISO 14001; looks for way to improve and promote quality.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirement Profile:
Professional Background / Basic Qualification / Work Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Sales or closely related field.
- Minimum three years’ experience in program management.
- Minimum ten years’ experience working for a manufacturing supplier with a combination of purchasing, engineering, finance and/or manufacturing preferably in an automotive setting.
- Ability to travel domestically or international by car or plane.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in SAP.
