Position Summary
The Senior Account Supervisor is responsible for managing customer relationships, leading account management activities, and ensuring customer satisfaction while supporting company sales, profitability, and operational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for assigned customer accounts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customer purchasing, engineering, quality, and program teams.
- Lead customer communication regarding production schedules, forecasts, pricing, service issues, and program changes.
- Ensure timely resolution of customer concerns and escalations.
- Monitor customer demand and support production planning activities.
- Review customer forecasts and coordinate requirements with internal stakeholders.
- Track account performance, revenue, profitability, and service metrics.
- Support quote preparation, pricing reviews, and commercial negotiations.
- Assist with customer contracts and commercial agreements.
- Support new product launches and engineering changes.
- Coordinate activities between customers and internal program teams.
- Ensure customer requirements are communicated and implemented effectively.
- Monitor launch performance and address issues impacting on customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Finance teams.
- Lead internal account review meetings.
- Coordinate corrective actions for customer concerns and delivery issues.
- Ensure customer expectations are aligned with operational capabilities.
- Prepare and present customer account performance reports.
- Analyze sales trends, forecast accuracy, customer scorecards, and profitability data.
- Identify risks and opportunities within assigned accounts.
- Develop action plans to improve customer satisfaction and business growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Engineering, or related field.
- 7+ years of automotive commercial, account management, sales, or program management experience.
- Minimum 5 years of leadership experience.
- Automotive manufacturing or supplier experience required.
- Strong negotiation, financial analysis, and customer relationship skills.
- Travel Requirement
- 25% travel
- Support customer launches and critical production events as required.
