POSITION OVERVIEW
As an IT Intern at Magna, you will work closely with our IT Team to provide essential support for our IT infrastructure.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
路 Technical support: Provide technical assistance and troubleshoot issues with computers, software, printers, and other equipment.
路 Installation and maintenance: Assist with software installation, hardware setups, and system updates.
路 System monitoring and backups: Help monitor system performance and perform routine backups.
路 Inventory and documentation: Maintain records of IT assets, including hardware, software, and peripherals.
路 Project assistance: Support IT projects, which may include network maintenance, application deployment, or cloud infrastructure management.
路 Research: Research technology solutions and assist in resolving unusual technical problems.
QUALIFICATIONS:
路 Basic knowledge of computer systems, operating systems, and software.
路 Familiarity with network and system security.
路 Knowledge of hardware and software installation.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
路 Currently enrolled in a college or university pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS:
路 Proficient Computer knowledge and skills, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
路 Professional Communication skills (written and verbal)
路 Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORK ENVIRONMENT:
路 Normal amount of sitting or standing, average mobility to move around an office environment, able to conduct normal amount of work at a computer.
