Schedule:
Monday–Thursday, 6:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., with Friday overtime as needed

Based on experience

Job Summary:
The Edge Band Operator is responsible for operating semi-automatic and fully automatic edge banding machines, including contour edgebanding machines, to apply edges to wood components with precision. Experience with HOMAG and Biesse machines is preferred.

Responsibilities:

Set up and operate edge banding machines to apply edging materials to wood components
Adjust machine settings for different materials, profiles, and thicknesses
Monitor production quality and make adjustments as needed
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning on equipment
Inspect finished components to ensure proper adhesion, alignment, and finish quality
Maintain a safe and organized work area and comply with all safety standards
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals

Qualifications:

Prior experience operating semi-automatic and fully automatic edge banding machines
Experience with contour edgebanding machines preferred
Knowledge of HOMAG and Biesse equipment a plus
Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
High school diploma or equivalent
