26-27 Intramural Rec Coordinator - Athletics - Student Intramurals

Description:

Various games and tournaments are sponsored throughout the school year including sand volleyball, tennis, basketball, indoor volleyball, dodgeball, and indoor soccer.

Intramural student workers are expected to learn the rules of each game and regulate the games to ensure they are played in a safe manner. Any pre-game set-up and post-game tear-down required of the games which may include raising or lowering the gym curtains, setting up and taking down volleyball nets, and storing miscellaneous equipment properly is the responsibility of the intramural student workers. Intramural student workers will keep time and score as outlined in the rules of each game and record it after each game.

- Reporting any damaged / missing equipment that needs replacing 
- Program building for potential new and exciting events for student body to attend 
- In charge of tracking attendance
- Being present at events
- Set up, facilitate during, tear down 
- Anything additionally that 

Qualifications:

Knowledge of various sports helpful. Priority to Federal Work Study and those with experience. 

Preferred Schedule: 

Evenings, Weekends, Potential weekends, would open up opportunities based on availability. But will mostly work to keep events on weekdays (Fridays included) to best attract  student body.
