Home Inspector

• Travel to home inspection site (majority of jobs occurring in Westchester County, NY)
• Inspect all exterior, interior, site, foundation, plumbing, HVAC and electrical elements of a property
• Suggest possible improvements and discuss issues found in/around a property clearly to discerning clients
• Write up detailed reports using proprietary software and templates and take/upload photographs of findings in a timely manner

• Valid home inspector license strongly preferred, but training/support to obtain license will be provided for a highly qualified applicant
• 2+ years of construction, real estate, home repair/service or similar experience required
• A basic understanding of building methods and systems
• Completion of High School
• Degree in construction/engineering or similar preferred, but not required
• Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and a positive attitude
• Physically fit for climbing ladders, walking on roofs, accessing crawl spaces and attics, and standing/walking for long periods of time
• Able to lift 50 lbs
• May be required to enter homes that contain allergens such as pets, dust, mold, or other
