Veritas Christian Academy is a Christ-centered community of students, parents, teachers, and administrators united by a shared vision: to build a biblically grounded foundation that equips students to stand firm in their faith and impact the world for the glory of God.

At Veritas, we educate students in a Christ-centered environment that disciples them toward academic, artistic, and athletic excellence. We partner with mission-minded families to intentionally integrate Christian faith and academic learning for their children from preschool through 12th grade.

Coaching Expectations

Coaches at Veritas Christian Academy play an important role in both the spiritual and personal development of our student-athletes.

Coaches are expected to:

  • Integrate biblical principles into team culture and regularly pray for and with student-athletes both individually and as a team.
  • Prioritize the development of character, sportsmanship, citizenship, and academic responsibility above simply winning competitions.
  • Plan, schedule, and supervise all practices while ensuring a safe and structured environment for student-athletes.
  • Emphasize player safety and respond appropriately to injuries. Minor injuries should be treated with care and documented using an Incident/Accident/Injury Report. Serious injuries must be reported promptly to the Athletic Director, trainer, and school nurse.
  • Maintain consistent and effective communication with players, parents, and school administration using established communication systems.
