ABOUT ISLAND COUNTRY CLUB CONDO TRUST

Island Country Club Condo Trust, operating as Island Inn, is a 51-unit condominium property functioning as a resort hotel and event center on Martha’s Vineyard. The property offers seasonal lodging, a full-service event center, and a tennis center.


ABOUT THE POSITION 

The Event Center Manager oversees the overall operations of the Event Center, including bookings, client relations, staff coordination, and serving as a liaison among the front office, owners, and Board of Trustees regarding events and facility use.


Event Center Oversight Includes

  • Marketing and promotion of the Event Center
  • Development and maintenance of Event Center marketing materials and brochure
  • Management of event inquiries, bookings, contracts, and the Google calendar
  • Negotiation of rates and preparation of client invoices
  • Providing on-site coverage for events, as needed
  • Coordination of the event calendar with Gulph Creek for group sales
  • Serving as liaison with the front office to communicate event details to guests
  • Oversight of the Event Center budget, assets, equipment, and maintenance
  • Ensuring clients and renters comply with all resort rules and regulations
  • Providing day-of-event planning, coordination, and operational support, including client and departmental communication
  • Preparing reports and updates for the Board of Trustees
