Inside our Project Management Office

The Project Management Office (PMO) at Burwood Group, now part of Sikich, is a dynamic team of professionals dedicated to leading, coordinating, and delivering complex projects that drive business transformation for clients across diverse industries. Renowned for its innovative, customer-focused approach, the PMO combines deep project management expertise with a strong commitment to collaboration, continuous improvement, and achieving impactful results.

How You’ll Make an Impact

As a Senior Project Manager aligned to our Data and Application Cloud Services (DACS) team, you will lead complex, high-impact client engagements that may involve multiple workstreams, diverse stakeholder groups, and cross-practice collaboration. You will ensure successful project delivery while aligning with client expectations, contractual commitments, financial targets, and strategic objectives. Operating with a high degree of autonomy, you'll serve as a trusted advisor to clients, an internal leader within the PMO, and a partner to the DACS team Leaders, providing Portfolio Management insights and ongoing delivery optimization recommendations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead multi-phase and multi-disciplinary client engagements.
  • Manage dependencies and coordination across multiple workstreams.
  • Own project financial performance including forecasting, margin protection, revenue recognition and proactive recovery planning. 
  • Partner with Practice Leadership to optimize delivery/profitability while maintaining client satisfaction.  
  • Drive disciplined scope management and profitability alignment.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks before they impact delivery.
  • Build and maintain relationships with senior client stakeholders and DACS Leadership.
  • Present project status, risks, and recommendations to client executive audiences.
  • Present Portfolio and project status, risks, and recommendations to internal executive audiences.
  • Contribute to project management standards, methodologies, and best practices across the organization
  • Utilize delivery health indicators to proactively identify emerging risks and recommend corrective actions before client outcomes are impacted.

Your Core Skills & Certifications

  • 8–12 years of project management experience.
  • Demonstrated success leading complex client engagements.
  • Strong financial governance and executive communication skills.
  • Experience managing large-scale, multi-workstream projects.
  • PMP certification or equivalent credential strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience managing enterprise cloud deployments, specifically utilizing Google Cloud Platform (GCP) technologies strongly preferred.

Nice to Have

  • Experience supporting Organizational Change Management (OCM) initiatives, including stakeholder engagement, communication planning, business readiness, training coordination, and user adoption strategies.
  • Familiarity with Organizational Change Management frameworks such as Prosci ADKAR or similar methodologies.
  • Prosci Change Management Certification or equivalent experience is a plus.
  • Experience partnering with business and technical teams to drive successful adoption during enterprise technology and cloud transformation initiatives
