About the Role

We're looking for an experienced CaaS Manager to lead outsourced accounting and advisory engagements for small and mid-sized businesses across the Chicago suburban market. You'll serve as a trusted financial advisor to a portfolio of clients while managing and mentoring a team of accounting professionals.

Responsibilities

You'll oversee full-cycle outsourced accounting engagements, deliver financial reporting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis, and provide strategic advisory support including budgeting and KPI development. You'll also identify opportunities to deepen client relationships and collaborate with leadership on practice growth.



Requirements

  • 7+ years of progressive accounting or advisory experience
  • Demonstrated industry experience across nonprofit, manufacturing, construction, and real estate
  • Strong command of GAAP, fund accounting, job costing, and real estate accounting principles
  • Proficiency with cloud-based platforms such as QuickBooks Online or Sage Intacct
  • CPA designation required or actively in progress
  • Exceptional communication skills with non-financial audiences
  • Proven ability to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously
