Key Responsibilities
- Research target accounts within warehousing, manufacturing, distribution, logistics, retail, and related industries.
- Identify appropriate contacts across operations, supply chain, transportation, facilities, security, and technology.
- Generate new sales opportunities through outbound calling, email, LinkedIn, industry research, and coordinated sales campaigns.
- Respond promptly to inbound inquiries and determine whether the prospect meets established qualification criteria.
- Conduct initial conversations to understand the prospect’s current processes, operational challenges, priorities, timeline, and potential business impact.
- Introduce prospects to the myQ Enterprise platform and explain how our solutions can improve facility access, scheduling, check-in, yard visibility, dock operations, and overall efficiency.
- Schedule qualified discovery meetings and ensure the appropriate account executive receives complete and accurate background information.
- Partner with account executives to develop account strategies, expand engagement within target organizations, and identify additional stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate records of prospecting activity, contacts, conversations, and opportunities in the company’s CRM.
- Consistently achieve established expectations for outbound activity, qualified meetings, opportunity creation, and pipeline contribution.
- Participate in sales training, call coaching, role-playing, and professional-development activities.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product, and other internal teams to improve messaging, targeting, and campaign effectiveness.
- Provide feedback regarding customer needs, competitive activity, market trends, and common objections.
Qualifications
Required
- Zero to three years of professional experience in sales, business development, customer service, marketing, or another customer-facing position.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Confidence initiating conversations by phone, email, and other digital channels.
- Ability to ask thoughtful questions, listen carefully, and communicate complex ideas clearly.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Self-motivated, competitive, and capable of working toward measurable goals.
- Willingness to receive coaching, apply feedback, and continually improve.
- Comfortable learning new technologies, industries, and business processes.
- Ability to maintain accurate and timely information within a CRM system.
