Job DetailsJob Location: Oak Brook HQ - Oak Brook, IL 60523Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $25.00 - $27.50 HourlyGENERAL FUNCTION:  Supports the MSB Department by responding to customer requests and completing daily, periodic, and project-based responsibilities for Republic Bank of Chicago while ensuring the MSB Department follows all applicable laws and regulations of the Bank and MSB Policies and Procedures.   ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Customer Service - Meeting and exceeding customers’ various expectations and solving customer problems and inquiries: Preparing new account documentation Open new accounts on the FIS platform Statement instructions and rendering Prepare account files. Order supplies including: Checks Deposit tickets Endorsement stamps                                                              Manual Wire transfers Account transfers Help maintain customer account lists (focus to sell web products) Cash ordering set-up: Emergency cash orders Set ordering limits. Loan payment and line of credit advance/repayment processing. Research on inquiries concerning cash deliveries, pick-ups, errors in debits or credits posting to accounts. Issuing provisional credits Other office work as needed including: Copying, faxing, scanning Account maintenance including changes of address, billing errors, etc. Special projects Forgery / Fraud Related Requests Process incoming claims through the MSB Client Portal Process both Incoming and Outgoing Forgery and Mobile Deposit Claims Reclamations SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: N/A EXPECTATIONS: Achieve goals as set forth by SVP / MSB Operations, which corresponds with the bank-wide budget. Capacity to work in a fast-paced and proactive environment while adding value for our clients. MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: High School Degree or its equivalent. Knowledge of industry, especially operations, with direct experience in the industry preferred. Basic office computer skills. Self-starter with the ability to meet deadlines. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Every employee of Republic Bank is responsible for knowing and practicing Bank Secrecy Laws (AML/CIP/SAR/CTR/OFAC), the USA Patriot Act, and other related regulations as they relate to their specific job function.
