The Account Coordinator is an entry-level role that will perform specific tactical sales functions through cross-functional management of multiple internal departments.
What You Will Be Doing:Â Â
- Provides administrative and customer service support to Senior Account Executive in the management of account operations.
- Submit pricing information to customers and input pricing/stickering information in the distribution system.
- Responsible for tracking and monitoring inbound and outbound shipments, processing promotional orders, and tracking placement reports.
- Responsible for validating department profile information, updating profiles in distribution systems, and communicating changes to field managers.
- Primary liaison with field managers to provide merchandising plans, customer information, and general support.
- Frequent communication with ReaderLink retail customers.
- Work closely with the account management team and support other internal departments to meet customer expectations.
- Needs to be able to quickly assess a customer inquiry or account task, determine a solution or information needed, and own the process through completion and follow-up.
- Produce ad hoc sales reports and stock-level information. Assist in the creation of presentations and sales analysis as needed.
- Proactively manages a list of tasks and scheduling.
- Must be able to multi-task, meet deadlines, and manage the needs of the account management team and other internal and external groups, including managing multiple accounts, under different team leaders.
- Other duties may be assigned, directed, or requested.
What You Will Need:Â
- High school diploma or general educational development (GED) diploma or certificate is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field is preferred.
- Strong to advanced experience in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook is preferred.
- Detail-oriented, strong organizational skills, flexible, and efficient.Â
- Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple projects/requests. Â
- Excellent interpersonal skills – in-person, phone, email, presentations, etc. Fast learner, team player, and aggressive problem solver.
- Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to speak with all levels of the organization and outside partners.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as instructions and procedure manuals.
- Ability to create and write reports.
- Must be proficient in basic mathematics: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Ability to do algebra, calculate figures and amounts and apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Â
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving variables.
- The work performed is in an office environment.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate at low decibels.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
Salary:Â $20.00/hour - $23.00/hour
