About the role
The Client Experience Ambassador creates the first and last impression of the CD Peacock Mansion. This highly visible hospitality role warmly welcomes each client, coordinates a seamless arrival and handoff, anticipates comfort and service needs, and helps maintain an inviting, polished environment consistent with CD Peacock's luxury standards.
What you'll do
- Warmly greet and acknowledge every client and guest upon arrival, using professional judgment to understand the purpose of the visit without creating a transactional or pressured experience.
- Recognize returning clients whenever possible and provide a personalized welcome while respecting privacy and client preferences.
- Manage client arrival flow, confirm appointments, notify the appropriate Sales Professional, boutique, or department, and facilitate a smooth and timely introduction.
- Communicate anticipated wait times and remain attentive to waiting clients, providing updates and coordinating alternate support when needed.
- Offer and coordinate refreshments, seating, coat assistance, directions, and other hospitality touches that enhance the client's comfort throughout the visit.
- Answer and route incoming calls professionally, provide general store information, and connect callers with the appropriate team member without sharing confidential information.
- Maintain awareness of activity throughout the Mansion and communicate client-flow concerns, coverage needs, special arrivals, or service opportunities to leaders and the appropriate teams.
- Keep reception, entry, waiting, and hospitality areas organized, stocked, and presentation-ready, and promptly address anything that detracts from the client experience.
- Support appointments, private client experiences, and store events through guest-list preparation, check-in, wayfinding, hospitality coordination, setup, and breakdown as assigned.
- Capture or confirm basic client and appointment information in designated systems when appropriate, maintaining accuracy, discretion, and confidentiality.
- Respond calmly and graciously to immediate client needs or concerns, resolving straightforward matters and promptly involving the appropriate manager when additional support is required.
- Support front-of-house opening and closing readiness and collaborate with security, facilities, boutiques, and store leadership to maintain a safe and seamless client environment.
Qualifications
- Previous hospitality, luxury retail, concierge, reception, hotel, restaurant, or other high-touch client service experience is preferred.
- Warm, polished, and approachable presence with exceptional verbal communication and active-listening skills.
- Natural hospitality instincts and the ability to anticipate needs while remaining professional, discreet, and composed.
- Strong situational awareness and the ability to coordinate multiple arrivals, appointments, calls, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to build positive working relationships across boutiques and departments and complete handoffs with accuracy and follow-through.
- Comfort using appointment, phone, email, and client-management systems, with the ability to learn new tools quickly.
- Ability to stand and move throughout the Mansion for extended periods and lift or carry up to 15 pounds as needed.
- Flexibility to work a retail schedule, including weekends, evenings, holidays, and events based on business needs.
