About the Role:

The Nurse Practitioner will serve as a vital healthcare provider delivering comprehensive family medicine services with a focus on pain management, geriatrics, and pediatrics. This role involves conducting thorough clinical assessments to diagnose and treat a wide range of acute and chronic conditions while prioritizing patient safety and quality care. The Nurse Practitioner will collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans that address trauma and other complex health issues. Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current and valid Nurse Practitioner license in the practicing state or region.
  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
  • Certification in Family Medicine or relevant specialty.
  • Demonstrated experience in clinical assessments and patient management.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification or additional training in Pain Management.
  • Experience working with geriatric and pediatric patient populations.
  • Trauma nursing certification or experience in trauma care settings.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms.
  • Participation in continuous professional development and evidence-based practice initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform detailed clinical assessments and physical examinations for patients across all age groups, including pediatric and geriatric populations.
  • Develop, implement, and manage individualized treatment plans focusing on family medicine and pain management.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary to ensure optimal health outcomes and patient safety.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care, especially in trauma cases.
  • Educate patients and their families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions.
