Job title: Flagpole Ops Manager

The schedule would be 7:45-4:30pm, and the pay range would be $55-65k

POSITION PURPOSE:

The FPO Warehouse Supervisor will oversee the daily operations for the Pole Prep, Fabrication and Accessory departments. This position will assist in improving warehouse efficiency and in strategic flagpole development.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

DUTIES:

• Plan and coordinate daily workflow with Sales, Supervisors and Team Leads

• Plan, forecast and communicate staffing needs for peak business times; assist HR with recruitment of new personnel

• Point of contact for Customer Pickups

• Create and complete production orders based on department needs

• Thoroughly communicate job expectations; train and develop employees

• Establish rapport with vendors for company needs

• Ensure shipment accuracy

• Complete annual performance evaluations

• Be an example to others by practicing positive and professional work ethics

• Strengthen department Leads and Supervisors by coaching and mentoring

• Oversee employee issues, provide solutions and perform corrective actions as needed

• Organize and maintain inventory and storage of flagpoles

• Follow safety policies and procedures at all times

• Knowledgeable with various poles (stored in G with minor defects) can be sold for a discounted price. Can sell to dealers when they are onsite.

• Skilled and competent within m-winch and vanguard poles

• Highly knowledgeable with nesting poles

• Assist with vendor deliveries: (Elkcast, McCoy, Imperial Tool)

• Backup as driver for Eder Delivery orders

• Assist in special projects as needed

• Backup to LTL support office

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Completion of 4-years of high school, or equivalent is strongly preferred

Over 5 year and up to including 7 years’ experience is preferred

Efficient in Microsoft office

Business Management

Forklift Certified
