Pay Range:
$20.50 - $20.50Major Responsibilities: Provision of psychological assessments and evaluation and individual and family therapy services with effective use of clinical evaluations and established treatment plans to insure quality therapy to patients. 1)Schedule with patients, establish fees, distribute appropriate forms and measures to the patient, and establish a working rapport with the patient. 2)Deliver effective clinical services consisting of psychological assessments, evaluations, individual and family therapy. 3)Manage the course of therapy, manage the billing and authorization requirements for foster care services, and termination issues after consultation with supervisors. Provision of 15 clinical hours per week for 48 weeks of revenue generating clinical services resulting in $42,700 in net charged revenue and $32,700 of collected revenue. 1)Explain and support clinical and billing policies and procedures with patients. 2)Manage caseload and work with clinical director to ensure caseload is at appropriate level. 3)Explain, obtain and forward signed initial documentation forms and releases at the first visit. Involvement in Internship Training Program in all phases demonstrating initiative and leadership 1)Participate fully in all aspects of training including initial orientation phase trainings, external trainings, and specialized clinical trainings 2)Attend all individual and group supervisions during training year 3)Attend and participate in scheduled administrative meetings and special meetings and events as assigned. 4)Provide prevention workshops and other clinical presentations to public as assigned. To emulate the concept of "Customer Service Excellence" while performing all related job duties at Advocate Family Care Network. 1)Provide excellent customer service to all customers both internal and external. 2)Assumes accountability and responsibility for outcomes as a whole by assisting other team members to achieve the most cost-effective, customer focused outcomes. 3)Acts as a "Customer Service" resource person to external referral sources and internal Advocate staff to promote awareness of service. 4)Participates in "customer service" activities as assigned by the Clinical Director. 5)Design, present, and evaluate inservices to external and internal customers to make the programs of Advocate Family Care Network better known and utilized. Establishment and maintenance of patient records in accordance with divisional policies and procedures to monitor and document patient progress. 1)Keep vital information in clinical record to document progress and difficulties of patients. Notify the Clinical Director of problems with patients as these matters become evident. 2)Use proper forms to document clinical services accurately and consistently. Education/Experience Required: M.A. or M.S. in Psychology 3 years clinical practice. Internship approved by a doctoral school of psychology. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required: Therapeutic skills, listening skills, ability to connect and develop rapport with client. Past experience of providing assessment and therapy services.
