Bed Care Technicians gain valuable hands-on experience and develop into future leaders at Brilar through:
- Maintaining weed-free landscape bedsÂ
- Caring for trees, shrubs, annuals, and perennialsÂ
- Safely applying pesticides in landscape areasÂ
- Maintaining commercial pesticide applicator certification (company assistance provided)Â
- Communicating with the Operations Manager regarding job site and service-related issuesÂ
- Performing snow removal services during the winter seasonÂ
- Ensuring work is completed safely for employees, clients, the public, and the environmentÂ
- Safely operating tools, vehicles, and equipmentÂ
- Assisting with equipment care and general maintenanceÂ
- Building leadership, accountability, and teamwork skills through daily field operations

Requirements
- Valid Chauffeur’s license with acceptable driving record and DOT medical card
- Pesticide Applicator License required (3A, 3B & 6)Â
- Ability to safely operate commercial vehicles and trucks with trailersÂ
- Trainable and coachable with the ability to learn new concepts quicklyÂ
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditionsÂ
- Availability to be on call 24/7 during the winter season monthsÂ
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the positionÂ
- Dependable, punctual, and reliableÂ
- Strong sense of accountability to both self and teamÂ
- Takes ownership and pride in their workÂ
