Experience is great, but we love developing employees under our roof as well. (protomet.com/apprentice)   FUNCTION:   Machining team members are the backbone of our operation. They operate advanced equipment to manufacture high quality boat parts. Machining is a highly mechanical, hands-on, production process.   OUTCOMES:   Responsible for multi-tasking, running multiple parts on several CNC machines and keeping machines running at a high pace Communicate needs for stock material in a timely manner to our Fabrication department Load raw aluminum parts and fixture them down to pallets using hand tools Meet production goals according to the engineering schedule Comprehend drawings and job instructions to verify client specifications Work to develop skills and learn all parts of the machining process (set-up, tooling changes, etc.)  QualificationsCOMPETENCIES:   Cultural Fulfillment at work most often occurs when personal values align with those of the organization.
