Project Controls Specialist (Mid-Level)

Location: On-site at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) — Knoxville, TN

About the Role

RayTek is seeking a mid-level Project Controls Specialist to support a client in Oak Ridge, TN. This on-site role will apply project controls best practices across scope, schedule, cost, and change management to help ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Support project controls functions across scope, schedule (time), cost, and change management for projects at ORNL
  
• Develop, maintain, and analyze project schedules using Oracle Primavera
  
• Track and process changes through established change control applications and processes
  
• Develop and maintain custom systems and reports to support project reporting and analysis needs
  
• Collaborate with project managers and technical staff to monitor project performance and identify variances
  
• Prepare accurate, timely reports and analyses for project stakeholders
  

Requirements

Basic Qualifications

• BS/BA in Project Management, Construction Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field
  
• 3-8 years of relevant experience (an equivalent combination of education, experience, and specialized training will be considered)
  
• Basic understanding of project controls best practices related to scope, time, cost, and change management
  
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Primavera, change control applications, and custom system/report development
  

Additional Requirements 

• Position requires on-site presence at ORNL in Knoxville, TN
  
• No security clearance required
  
• US Citizenship required
