We are looking for a passionate and driven Electronic Assembler to join our team. As an Electronic Assembler, you will be responsible for converting raw material into sub-assemblies and finished products.  If you are an Electronic Assembler, we would love to hear from you! 

 

The Electronic Assembler will:

  • Reads work orders, follows production drawings, and sample assemblies, or receives verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed.
  • Positions and aligns parts in specified relationships to each other in fixtures or other holding devices.
  • Crimps, stakes, screws, bolts, rivets, solders, cements, press fits, or performs other operations to join or secure parts in place using hand tools, power tools, air tools, machines and equipment.
  • Mounts assembled components such as printed circuit board assemblies, transformers, resistors, capacitors, integrated circuits, and sockets in or on chassis assemblies.
  • Connects component led wires to printed circuit or routes and connects wires between individual component leads and other components, connectors, terminals and contact points using soldering or related bonding procedures and equipment.
  • Installs finished assemblies or subassemblies in cases/cabinets and attaches hardware.
  • Performs intermediate assembly tasks such as potting, sanding, cleaning, epoxy bonding and color-coding parts and assemblies.
  • Perform on-line go-no-go testing and inspection and other simple testing procedures using measuring devices and electronic test equipment to ensure parts and assemblies meet production specifications and standards.
  • May perform assembly/inspection operations under microscope or other devices.
  • May be directed or required to mentor or train others.
  • Store/stock material and verification of material
  • Pick and prepare material for transport 
     

Electronic Assembler Requirements:

  • IPC (J-STD-001) is preferred but not required
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Six months to one-year related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
