Sr. Director Supply Chain Primary Objective:Â
The Sr. Director, Supply Chain is responsible for leading core supply chain functions including Demand Planning, Freight Coordination, Distribution Centers, and Inventory Management to ensure operational excellence, cost efficiency, and strong execution across the network.This role is accountable for delivering accurate inventory, efficient product flow, and reliable fulfillment while partnering cross-functionally with Fleet and Final Mile leadership to optimize end-to-end performance and customer experience. The Sr. Director Supply Chain will operate as a strategic and hands-on leader, driving execution discipline, building team capability, and implementing scalable processes.

Sr. Director Supply Chain Accountabilities:Â
- Lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of Supply Chain functions, including Demand Planning, Freight Coordination, Distribution Centers, and Inventory Management to ensure efficient, accurate, and cost-effective execution.
- Develop and implement strategies that improve product flow, inventory accuracy, and overall supply chain performance in alignment with company goals.
- Establish clear priorities and ensure consistent execution across all areas of responsibility, holding leaders and teams accountable for results.
- Partner cross-functionally with Merchandising, Stores, Finance, Fleet, and Final Mile teams to ensure alignment and effective end-to-end supply chain performance.
- Drive improvements in demand forecasting, inventory planning, and replenishment processes to support product availability and business growth.
- Oversee inbound freight operations, including carrier management, scheduling, and cost control, ensuring timely and efficient movement of goods.
- Lead distribution center operations to improve productivity, throughput, and accuracy, while supporting network scalability and operational consistency.
- Ensure inventory is managed effectively across the network, including accuracy, reporting, turns, and obsolescence management.
- Own and manage supply chain budgets, monitoring expenses and identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Build, develop, and lead a high-performing team by setting clear expectations, providing coaching and feedback, and supporting ongoing development and succession planning.
- Establish and maintain effective communication with leadership and cross-functional partners, providing updates on performance, risks, and key initiatives.
- Identify and implement process improvements, tools, and technologies that enhance operational performance and support long-term scalability.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and partners, ensuring accountability for service, cost, and performance.
- Lead change initiatives within Supply Chain, ensuring alignment, clear communication, and successful adoption across teams.
- Monitor key performance indicators and operational metrics, using data to drive decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements across all areas of responsibility.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Sr. Director Supply Chain Benefits:
- Pay Range $140,440 to $187,250Â

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field
- 8--12+ years of progressive supply chain leadership experience
- Experience leading multiple supply chain functions (planning, DCs, inventory, freight)
- Proven ability to drive operational execution and process improvement
- Strong financial acumen and budget management experience
- Experience working cross-functionally in a retail or distribution environment
Preferred:
- Experience in retail, furniture, or multi-site distribution environments
- Exposure to supply chain systems (planning tools, WMS, TMS)
- Experience leading transformation, automation, or optimization initiatives
