If you have strong diagnostic skills, heavy-duty truck experience, and take pride in quality repairs, we want you on our team. A day in the life may include: Verifying vehicle performance by conducting test drives. Advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic testing and electronic repairs. Changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and machinery. Adjusts brakes. Disassembling and overhauling internal combustion engines, pumps, transmissions, clutches, and rear ends. Safety inspections. Reconditioning and replacing parts, pistons, bearings, gears, and valves. Keeping the shop equipment operating by following operating instructions. Enhancing the service department by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. QualificationsTo be successful in the role, you would have: 4+ years working as a diesel truck mechanic or a combination of varying education/experience may be considered to meet this qualification. Extensive knowledge in the repair and maintenance of diesel engines & power trains is preferred. ASE certification is preferred. What's in it for you?
