Temple Sinai Preschool is a play-based, Jewish preschool in Oakland. We strive to create a warm and welcoming classroom and school environment that supports children in positive play, building community, and developing a positive Jewish identity.Â
Position:Â Â Preschool TeacherÂ
Hours: 9:00am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday
Pay Rate: $23.00 - 26.00/hr commiserate with education and experience.Â
Job Purpose:Â
Teachers work in partnership with their teams to provide consistent, responsive support across classrooms. This role helps ensure a warm, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment for all children by actively engaging in the daily rhythm of the classroom, fostering meaningful relationships, and supporting the implementation of curriculum. Teachers collaborate with colleagues to uphold the school’s values and create a positive, inclusive classroom community.Â

QualificationsÂ
Education & ExperienceÂ
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an early childhood or early elementary education settingÂ
- Demonstrated interest in continued professional growth and learningÂ
- A minimum of 12 ECE Units
- Infant/Toddler Units or a willingness to complete them preferredÂ
