The listed pay range or pay rate reflects compensation for a full-time equivalent (1.0 FTE) position. Actual compensation may differ depending on assigned hours and position status (e.g., part-time).

Position Overview

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education:High school diploma or equivalent. NJ Paramedic license. National Registry accepted but requires state reciprocity submission within 45 days of hire.

Experience:Three years previous EMS experience or full time pre-hospital ALS service.

Other Credentials:AHA ACLS-Adv Cardiac Life Supp,AHA BLS - Healthcare Provider,AHA PALS,Drivers License,ICS-100,ICS-200,NIMS,NIMS-700,NJ MICU Paramedic,PEPP ADV

Knowledge and Skills:Intermediate computer skills.

Special Training:Specialty courses. ICS 100, ICS 200, NIMS 700, and Hazmat Awareness. Ops, EMD/BCO, CEVO I, or equivalency.

Mental, Behavioral and Emotional Abilities:Ability to multi-task, give and tack direction, and work independently and as part of a team. Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills required. Excellent customer service skills required.
