IT Sr Programmer Analyst

Job Purpose

• Perform software development tasks which might include:
  • Administrative paperwork
  • Software evaluation and support tasks
  • Application troubleshooting and correction
  • Simple application design and coding
  • Other duties as defined by the manager

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Administrative paperwork as assigned
• Assist in evaluation and recommendation of software
• Analyze business process issues that may be improved or automated through a software system solution
• Design and code the software solutions to these business issues
• Support purchased applications as required
• Act as team leader and project manager as projects require

Experience and Educational Qualifications

• HS Diploma and BS degree preferred
• 5 years Experience in an Applications Development Environment
• Equivalent experience must be in Applications Development environment.  Development Environment is defined support and/or creation of software applications systems.

Abilities Required

• Must be able to come to work promptly and regularly.
• Must be able to take direction and work well with others.
• Must be able to work under the stress of deadlines.
• Must be able to concentrate and perform accurately.
• Must be able to react to change productively and to handle other tasks as assigned.
