About the role
The Delivery Person is responsible for local deliveries independently and/or assisting current crews. Responsibilities include maintaining radio or telephone contact with the Warehouse Delivery Center to receive delivery and/or pickup instructions, warehouse organization, shipping and receiving, and other general warehouse duties as assigned.
What you'll do
- Receive, ship, and process orders accurately and efficiently
- Operate forklifts and order pickers safely (certification preferred)
- Palletize orders; load and unload trucks
- Maintain attention to detail in all tasks to ensure accuracy
- Utilize computers and warehouse systems for inventory and order tracking
- Perform general housekeeping to maintain a safe and organized work environment
- Comply with all safety standards and company policies
- Required to assist in offloading of stainless equipment (Various Shapes & Sizes)
Qualifications
- Must be able to pass a drug test and maintain a clean DMV report
- Forklift and/or order picker experience required
- Knowledgeable in safely securing equipment on the delivery trucks.
- Basic computer literacy
- Reliable, safety-minded, and able to work effectively in a team environment
- Experience in driving a 26' bobtail truck W/ Lift gate
- Capable of lifting equipment up stairs
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Must be able to understand and follow instructions while working collaboratively with supervisors and team members
- Delivery Experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
