Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Driver in Moncks Corner, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine driving and walking patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and site operations. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with team members and visitors, and represent Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and integrity-driven culture.

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the property by checking credentials, documenting visitor and driver arrivals, and directing authorized personnel to designated areas in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoffs, including observations related to security-related procedures and facility operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortably use a computer or tablet preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
