Job Summary
The Vice President of Marketing is responsible for leading the company’s marketing strategy, brand development, and market growth initiatives. This role drives the creation and execution of integrated marketing campaigns, market research, digital strategy, and customer engagement efforts. The VP of Marketing provides strategic leadership to the marketing team, collaborates with executive leadership, and ensures marketing efforts align with business objectives and enhance the company’s competitive position.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth.
- Provide leadership and direction to the marketing team, including brand management, digital marketing, content creation, and market research.
- Lead market analysis and competitive research to identify trends, opportunities, and target markets.
- Oversee the development of marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, social media, print, and events.
- Manage the company’s brand identity, ensuring consistency across all communications and touchpoints.
- Collaborate with sales, product development, and other departments to align marketing strategies with business goals.
- Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and a strong return on investment.
- Build and maintain relationships with external partners, including agencies, media outlets, and vendors.
- Measure and analyze marketing performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to executive leadership.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and marketing best practices to drive innovation.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of marketing experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies that drive business growth.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, brand management, market research, and customer engagement.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with experience leading large, cross-functional marketing teams.
- Exceptional strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong financial acumen, with experience managing large budgets and optimizing marketing spend.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and build strong relationships.
- Experience in the poultry, agriculture, or food production industry is a plus.
