FIDELITY MANUFACTURING is part of the backup Power Generation Industry. We design and build back up power packages (to include tanks and enclosures) for large and small health, industrial, and technology-oriented businesses that cannot have a power lapse at any time.


Job Summary

The Enclosure Assembler is responsible for assembling precision aluminum housing components into fully completed enclosure units. This role requires teamwork, attention to detail, and the safe handling and movement of parts, panels, and heavy frames throughout the facility.


Essential Job Functions

路 Square up and assemble various shapes of enclosure components

路 Read and interpret drawings, prints, and channel detailing

路 Use basic hand tools including wrenches, ratchets, screwdrivers, and tape measures

路 Read a tape measure to verify measurements and ensure proper fitment

路 Perform installation techniques related to construction, framing, drywall, and hardware installation

路 Safely move parts and heavy frames on and off machinery and throughout the facility

路 Meet agreed-upon goals and production objectives in a timely manner

路 Work well with others to support team and production goals

路 Maintain safety and environmental health within the facility

路 Work safely and use required PPE for all workplace tasks


Education and Experience

路 High school diploma or equivalent preferred

路 Completion of a formal program or one to two years of related experience preferred

路 Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered

Working Conditions

Work is performed primarily in a manufacturing warehouse and assembly environment within the Housing department, where aluminum enclosures are assembled, fitted, and finished. The role involves regular exposure to loud noise, dust, airborne particles, fumes, vibration, temperature fluctuations, chemicals, and production byproducts, all within OSHA permissible exposure limits.

Work areas may include concrete floors, inclines, ramps, metal platforms, uneven ground, and assembly stations, with regular movement around machinery, tools, equipment, forklifts, and production lines. Certain tasks require working inside housing enclosures, cabinets, or structural assemblies, which may involve confined spaces and limited or poor lighting. During some stages of assembly, enclosure interiors may have minimal or no permanent lighting, requiring employees to work in dimly lit or dark spaces using task lighting or temporary illumination. Some work assignments may be performed outdoors or between buildings and may involve varying weather conditions depending on production needs. Designated personal protective equipment (PPE) is required, and safety training is provided in accordance with OSHA regulations, company policy, and industry standards.

  • Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, or maneuver materials, panels, tools, and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs., with or without mechanical assistance.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and/or sit for extended periods while 聽working on hard, non-forgiving surfaces such as concrete, metal, wood, or 聽聽聽聽聽fiberglass platforms.
  • Ability to navigate inclines, ramps, stairs, uneven ground, and walkways throughout production and assembly areas.
  • Ability to bend, reach, crouch, stoop, kneel, climb, and maintain balance while assembling components or working inside or around enclosure structures.
  • Ability to use hands and arms for handling tools, fasteners, hardware, operating equipment, grasping materials, and performing 聽聽聽聽聽repetitive motions requiring manual dexterity.
  • Ability to operate or work safely near machinery, tools, electrical components, and mechanical equipment.
  • Ability to maintain sufficient visual acuity to read measurements, inspect materials, review work instructions, and safely 聽聽聽聽聽perform tasks in both well-lit and low-light environments, including inside enclosure interiors.
