Human Resources (HR) Manager

Position – 1st shift

Reports to: Sr. HR Manager

Travel: Frequent 

Shift: 1st shift, Mon-Fri, Full-time

Hours: 8:00 - 5:00 PM, Additional hours may be required based on business needs. 

Location: Ocala, FL 

Salary: Based on Experience

FIDELITY MANUFACTURING is part of the backup Power Generation Industry. We design and build back up power packages (to include tanks and enclosures) for large and small health, industrial, and technology-oriented businesses that cannot have a power lapse at any time.


Position Summary 

The HR Manager will oversee human resources operations across current and future locations. This role requires a proactive leader who can balance strategic HR planning with hands-on support, ensuring alignment with company goals while fostering a positive, motivating, and collaborative workplace culture. 


The HR Manager will be responsible for day-to-day employee relations, compliance, performance management, and talent development, while also serving as a trusted partner to leadership and staff. 


Key Responsibilities 

  • Drive the HR vision across all locations, ensuring consistent implementation and follow through policies, processes, and best practices. 
  • Partner with leadership to develop and execute HR strategies that support organizational goals and operational needs. 
  • Be the voice of both the company and employee bridging any gaps to drive a positive work environment aligned with company values and goals. 
  • Anticipate the downstream impact of HR decisions on various departments and proactively adjust strategies to ensure positive outcomes. 
  • Collaborates with the recruiting team and supports the implementation of recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies to attract and retain top talent. 
  • Oversee payroll processing activities to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance, reviewing payroll reports and approvals completed by the HR Generalist prior to submission. 
  • Provide coaching and guidance to managers and employees on employee relations, performance improvement, and conflict resolution. 
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations. 
  • Working with all departments, developing and implementing training and development programs that build skills, support career growth, and promote leadership development. 
  • Analyze HR metrics and provide insights to support data-driven decision-making. 
  • Foster an inclusive, respectful, and motivating environment where employees feel valued and supported. 
  • Performs other duties as assigned and may take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the HR function and business objectives. 
  • Travel between assigned locations, as needed, to maintain a strong HR presence. 

Qualifications 


  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required. 
  • Minimum of 3 years of HR management experience, or similar, in recruiting, employee relations, performance management, and HR operations with oversight of a team. 
  • In-depth knowledge of HR practices, employment law, and compliance requirements. 
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. 
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite. 
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred.
