Activities Assistant - Memory Care

We are seeking a compassionate and engaging Part-Time Activities Assistant with weekend availability to inspire, motivate, and connect with our senior memory care residents. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and facilitate engaging activities tailored to the interests and abilities of memory care residents
- Foster a warm, welcoming environment that encourages participation and social interaction
- Motivate residents to participate in daily activities, promoting mental and emotional well-being
- Collaborate with staff and family members to develop personalized activity plans
- Maintain a safe and respectful environment during all activities
- Document resident participation and progress as required
Skills and Qualifications:
- Passion for working with seniors and enhancing their quality of life
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire residents with creativity and enthusiasm
- Prior experience in activity planning or senior care preferred but not required
- Weekend availability is essential
- Compassionate, patient, and adaptable demeanor
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
