Family First Homecare is currently seeking compassionate and skilled LPNs and RNs to provide one-on-one pediatric care in the home setting. If you are looking for meaningful work, flexible scheduling, and the opportunity to build strong patient relationships, we have immediate openings available.
We are urgently staffing the following cases:
Tavares (Lake County) – Immediate Need
Patient: 14-year-old male
Care Needs:
Seizure management
Verbal
Available Shift:
Sunday: 8:30 PM – 8:30 AM
Home Environment:
5 cats
Ideal candidate will be confident in seizure monitoring and overnight care.
Dunnellon (Citrus County) – High Priority Case
Patient: 16-year-old male
Care Needs:
G-Tube
Autism
Non-ambulatory
Wernicke’s
Available Shifts:
Sunday–Saturday: 24/7 coverage needed
Home Environment:
2 small dogs
Brooksville (Hernando County) – Starting Soon
Patient: 18-year-old male
Care Needs:
GJ Tube
Insulin administration
Discharging home from the hospital soon
Available Shifts:
All Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Weekend Days: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Home Environment:
No pets
Perfect for nurses experienced with enteral feeding and diabetic management who are comfortable with transition-of-care cases.
Position Responsibilities:
Provide skilled nursing care in accordance with physician’s plan of care
Monitor and manage seizure activity, enteral feedings, and insulin administration (as applicable)
Complete accurate and timely documentation
Communicate effectively with families and interdisciplinary team
Support smooth transition from hospital to home when applicable
Qualifications:
Active Florida LPN or RN license
Current CPR certification
Pediatric homecare experience preferred
Experience with G-Tube/GJ-Tube, insulin administration, and seizure management (as applicable to case)
Compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused
