About the Role:
As a Bartender/Mixologist, you will be the face of our establishment, responsible for crafting exceptional beverages that enhance the overall guest experience. Your role involves not only preparing and serving a wide variety of cocktails, beers, and other drinks but also engaging with customers to create a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere. You will utilize your deep knowledge of spirits, flavor profiles, and mixology techniques to innovate and customize drinks that meet diverse tastes and preferences. Maintaining cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and safety regulations is essential to ensure a safe and efficient bar environment. Ultimately, your expertise and interpersonal skills will contribute significantly to customer satisfaction, repeat business, and the establishment’s reputation for quality and creativity.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Previous experience working as a bartender or mixologist in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of drink recipes, bar equipment, and safety standards.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with craft cocktails and knowledge of a wide range of spirits, wines, and beers.
- Familiarity with SpotOn point-of-sale (POS) systems and cash handling procedures.
- Ability to create innovative drink recipes and customize orders based on customer preferences.
- Multilingual skills to engage with a diverse customer base.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standardized recipes and customer preferences.
- Engage with customers to provide recommendations, answer questions about drink options, and create a friendly, inviting atmosphere.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including stocking supplies and ensuring all equipment is sanitized.
- Monitor customer consumption to promote responsible drinking and comply with all legal regulations regarding alcohol service.
- Collaborate with management and team members to develop new cocktail recipes and seasonal drink menus.
- Handle cash and electronic payments accurately and efficiently while balancing the cash register at the end of shifts.
- Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally to ensure a positive experience.
- Stay informed about industry trends, new products, and mixology techniques to continuously improve service quality.
