PREP COOK (Seasonal)

The Deauville culinary team is expanding! We are looking for qualified candidates to join our team under the leadership of our Executive Chef TJ Ricciardi. The chef team focuses on simplicity and classic approach to this Jersey shore seafood eatery.


SEASONAL POSITION : STARTING  4/1/26

Pay Rate : STARTING  $18-$22 BOE


Required Experience :

  • Culinary school training or certification ( Preferred)

  • 2+ Years experience working as a Prep cook or in a similar kitchen role..

  • Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines.

  • Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards

  • Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays during the seasonal period.

Essential Functions :

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and presentation guidelines.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workstations throughout the shift.

  • Ensure all food is stored, handled, and cooked in compliance with health and safety regulations.

  • Collaborate with kitchen team members to coordinate order timing and delivery.

  • Assist with inventory management and restocking ingredients as needed during the shift.

  • Adapt quickly to changing menu items or special requests during busy periods.

  • Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to management promptly.

  • Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members.

  • Ability to work standing for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
