TERI is seeking experienced Behavior Support Professionals with direct, hands-on experience supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities who exhibit severe challenging behaviors. Your Role & Responsibilities –

Implement individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and provide direct behavioral support for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities who exhibit severe, challenging behaviors.
Safely respond to behavioral incidents, including physical aggression and assaultive behaviors, using evidence based antecedent and crisis intervention techniques.
Collect and document behavioral data, participant progress, incidents, and other required records to support ongoing treatment and program goals.
Promote independence, community inclusion, and skill development through person-centered instruction, active support, and meaningful community-based activities.
Assist participants with activities of daily living, medication administration, transportation, community access, and other individualized support needs while ensuring their health, safety, and dignity.
Collaborate with Behavior Specialists and interdisciplinary team members to ensure consistent implementation of behavior support strategies and high-quality participant outcomes.

Qualifications –

6 months+ of direct, hands-on experience supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities who exhibit severe aggressive, assaultive, or high-risk behaviors.
Demonstrated experience implementing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and utilizing approved crisis intervention techniques (e.g., BEST or equivalent).
High School Diploma or GED required.
Valid California Driver's License with an acceptable driving record and the ability to safely transport participants in the community.

Pay –

$25.00 Hourly

Status –

Full-time (8:30 AM – 3:30 PM/ 4:00 PM)
