Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional (QIDP) — Lead Quality Care That Changes Lives

This role offers the opportunity to lead with purpose, combining hands-on program oversight with mentorship and staff development. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring high-quality, person-centered services while fostering safe, supportive, and empowering environments for both residents and staff.

Your Role & Responsibilities –

  • Ensure the delivery of comprehensive Active Treatment programs tailored to each individual’s needs.
  • Maintain full compliance with all state and federal regulations, as well as agency policies, governing the operation of ICF/DD-H residential facilities.
  • Evaluate program effectiveness and actively contribute to the design and improvement of client services.
  • Coordinate individualized ISPs, including development of Skills Training Data Sheets, Quarterly Reports, Individual Service Plans, Strengths and Needs Assessments, and Functional Assessments.
  • Provide direct care to adults with severe to profound disabilities, including those exhibiting aggressive or assaultive behaviors, using approved Positive Behavior Support (PABS) and Behavior Emergency Safety Training (BEST) techniques, with a focus on safety and effectiveness.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support program and organizational goals.

 

Qualifications –

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in social science or a related field.
  • Minimum of one year experience working directly with individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Two years of supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
  • Acceptable DMV record and ability to obtain a Class B Driver’s License.
