The Line Cook at TERI plays a key role in supporting daily kitchen operations by preparing and plating food according to established recipes, quality standards, and Café Manager guidance. This position contributes to an exceptional guest experience by ensuring timely and accurate order execution, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation, and supporting efficient, high-volume food production. The Line Cook works closely with kitchen and front-of-house team members to uphold food safety, operational compliance, and a safe, respectful environment for guests, clients, and staff, while reflecting TERI’s values and commitment to excellence.

 

Your Role & Responsibilities –

  • Prepare and plate menu items according to CafĂ© Manager guidance, recipes, and quality standards.
  • Set up and maintain prep stations, stock inventory, and ensure cleanliness and sanitation throughout the kitchen.
  • Coordinate with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure timely and accurate completion of orders.
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, portion control, and efficient production for high-volume service.
  • Comply with all food safety regulations, licensing requirements, and TERI operational procedures.
  • Support a safe, respectful, and professional environment for guests, clients, and team members.

Qualifications –

  • Minimum of two (2) years of recent mid-to-high-volume scratch cooking experience in a professional kitchen.
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and flexible shifts as needed.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and time-management skills in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Experience with commercial kitchen equipment, inventory management, and restaurant technology platforms (e.g., Toast, Sling, Xtra Chef).
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and compliance with local health regulations.

 

Pay –

$22/hr. - $25/hr. Hourly Depending on experience

 

Status –

Part-Time
