The community you’ll be caring for: AdventHealth Orlando

  • Located on a lush tropical campus, our flagship hospital, 1,368-bed AdventHealth Orlando 
  • Serves as the major tertiary facility for much of the Southeast, the Caribbean and South America  
  • AdventHealth Orlando houses one of the largest Emergency Departments and largest cardiac catheterization labs in the country 
  • We are already one of the busiest hospitals in the nation, providing service excellence to more than 32,000 inpatients and 125,000 outpatients each year 

The role you’ll contribute:

Responsible for conducting audits, patient chart reviews, and data collection in compliance with hospital governing agencies. This position evaluates and synthesizes multiple data elements to establish, implement, and improve measures for effective and efficient processes with optimal patient outcomes. Additionally, this role leads and participates in planning, delivery, and continuous evaluation of process improvement plans through strong partnerships and communication with interdisciplinary teams. In addition, this position participates in meetings and other projects as directed by Emergency Department Leadership. This role actively contributes to maintaining respectful relationships and outstanding customer service.

  • Reviews patient charts to verify accuracy and adherence to regulatory standards.

  • Collects and analyzes data to monitor compliance and identify areas for improvement.

  • Synthesizes multiple data elements to establish and implement effective processes.



The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

  • Advanced computer skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook

  • Ability to apply leadership principles, communicate regulatory requirements and be self-directed

  • Knowledge of evidenced-based medicine through research and regulatory initiatives

  • Knowledge of core measures, public reporting, process improvement, performance improvement and methodology to improve quality of care

  • Associate's of Nursing graduate of a rn program

  • 2+ years of recent ed clinical nursing experience

  • Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS)

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS)

  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support Cert (PALS)
