Outbound Loader

This is an Operations position responsible for loading pre-assembled merchandise/pallets and master containers for shipment or transporting on delivery vehicles as directed under general supervision. Responsibilities include loading and unloading shipments, constant lifting of boxes up to 100 pounds, loading trucks according to truck mapping and special instructions, packing products to avoid damage and maintain load stability, wrapping pallets by machine or hand, unloading and cleaning trucks, operating stock trucks and mechanical jacks safely, preparing products for shipment by weighing, handling and transporting, marking, addressing, loading and packing products for proper delivery and condition, hand loading products onto trucks, and complying with all safety regulations and standards. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED preferred, 3 months warehouse experience preferred, 3 months experience operating electric pallet jack or forklift preferred, previous experience at Sysco or in foodservice industry preferred, must be 18+ years old, and must submit to pre-employment testing (drug screen, background check, physical abilities test).
