Role Description:

Traffic Management Solutions is looking for a certified Crane Operator to help our growing organization.

Responsibilities:

• Operate crane to lift, move, position and place equipment or materials.
• Read and interpret plans or designs to understand the requirements of the job.
• Assist in the planning and development of pick plans for site specific operations.
• Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment and clean, lubricate and refuel equipment.
• Safely operate a crane while maintaining communication with the ground crew for safe and efficient rigging and unrigging
• Understanding the crane's load chart, notes and warnings and being able to calculate or determine the crane's actual net capacity for all possible configurations of the machine
• Competent in completing all necessary pre-job paperwork as well as logbook following the completion of the job
• Other Duties as assigned 

Qualifications:

• Must have a valid Crane Operators Certification
• Minimum 2 years of experience operating a crane
• Must hold a valid class one driver's license
• Must understand the functions and limitations of the crane
• Have the ability to solve problems and handle high-stress situations in a professional manner
• Oversee the crane's general condition and notify management when maintenance is required
• Staying alert and maintaining a high level of concentration
• Ability to assess situations and identify potential hazards

Working Environment:

Work is performed in primarily outdoor environments with constant exposure to noise, dust, fumes, noxious odors, gases, mechanical and electrical hazards, moving objects, sharp edges, and temperature extremes
