As a Corporate Assistant Customer Service Manager, you assist the Corporate Customer Service Manager in overseeing the customer service team. Under the guidance of the Corporate Customer Service Manager, you help lead the team to ensure an exceptional customer and team member experience, support operational integrity, manage risk, and contribute to growth. In this role, you will coach and support team members while ensuring compliance with all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.


Responsibilities 

  • Assists with day-to-day coaching, guidance, and decision-making to support team member success and engagement.
  • Helps ensure delivery of a distinctive customer service experience consistent with the Bank Five Nine brand.
  • Supports team members with the resolution of customer issues in a tactful, effective manner and explains Bank Five Nine policies and procedures.
  • Leads by example and helps create a positive, inclusive, and productive work environment.
  • Conducts audits, reviews logs and reports, and resolves audit exceptions in a timely manner.
  • Ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements, bank policies, procedures, and security standards.
  • Assists with scheduling to ensure proper and efficient branch coverage.
  • Monitors daily operational activities to ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and adherence to established standards.
  • Acts on behalf of the Corporate Customer Service Manager as needed.

Must Haves

  • High school diploma or G.E.D.
  • Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience within a retail banking or bank branch environment.
  • Proven ability to make sound decisions based on policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Basic keyboarding skills and the ability to navigate in a Windows environment.

Preferred to Have

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Coaching or training experience.
  • Experience with supervision or leadership of retail banking activities.
  • Audit and compliance experience.
  • New accounts experience.
