Veterinary Technicians

 Schedule: Full-Time | Rotating Saturdays
Pay Range: $17-20 per hour (based on experience)

Good Shepherd Pet Hospital is a well-established veterinary clinic located in the right outside of Tampa in Odessa, FL. What you bring to the table:

• An experienced Veterinary Technician with 2+ years in practice.
• You have confidence in blood draws, IV placement, anesthesia monitoring and surgical support.
• Comfortable with rotating Saturday shifts and are committed to excellent attendance.
• A dependable and adaptable team player who brings energy and positivity to work.

What You’ll Do:

• Assist in patient care, surgical procedures, anesthesia monitoring, and diagnostics
• Support our DVMs during appointments, exams, treatments, and procedures
• Perform hands-on tasks including drawing blood, catheter placement, and injections, take radiographs and performs EKGs.
• Communicate clearly with clients on treatment plans, patient updates, and discharge instructions
• Collaborate with all team members to promote hospital efficiency and workflow
• Embrace mentorship, growth, and ongoing skill development in a structured, supportive environment
