Position: Parts/Warehouse Delivery Classification: Non-Exempt Hours: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Reports To: Parts Manager Department: Parts
SUMMARY: Responsible for delivering parts to customers in a timely manner and assisting mechanics with needed parts.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Ensure all parts are put into their proper place.
- Assist mechanics by providing appropriate parts.
- Make deliveries to customers in a timely manner.
- Obey traffic laws and follow established traffic and transportation procedures.
- Inspect and maintain vehicle cleanliness, supplies and equipment to ensure vehicles are in proper working condition.
- Report on any mechanical issues encountered with vehicles.
- Present bills, receipts and collect payments for goods delivered.
- Utilize forklift to load and unload trucks and place parts into inventory.
- Assist with evaluating inventory levels and returns.
- Protect company’s value by keeping information confidential.
- Comply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures and regulations.
- Local travel required.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- High School diploma (or equivalent)
EXPERIENCE:
- Six months to one year
- Clean driving record and valid license
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Physical demands include ability to stand, walk and sit for long periods, reaching and occasionally lifting up to 100 pounds.
- Physical demands include ability to work in noisy environments with occasional fumes.
