About the Sales Engineer - NetApp:Ā Ā
MarketStarĀ is currently hiring a Sales Engineer with our NetApp team as a Remote or Hybrid (Ogden, Utah) employee. As a Sales Engineer, you willĀ be responsible forĀ providing pre- and post-sales support withĀ NetAppĀ product sales and professional services. You willĀ utilizeĀ excellent technical and relationship-building skills while working with NetApp's direct sales teams and channel partners. You will respond effectively to pre- and post-sales technical questions and conduct remote technical activities.Ā

What Will You Do?Ā
Work directly with channel partners and direct sales teams in support of pre- and post-sales situations; respond effectively to questions via phone or email; provide technicalĀ
product and solution information; provide licenses to channel partners, and resolve customer entitlement issuesĀ
Apply NetAppĀ expertiseĀ to partners and customers who are looking to deploy hybrid cloud environmentsĀ
Collaborate with channel partners and direct sales teams to ensure partner SEs are prepared to size, design,Ā demonstrateĀ and sell clientās products and solutionsĀ
Remotely present orĀ demonstrateĀ more complex products and solutionsĀ
Guide partners to shape, create and deliver compelling customer demand generation activities,Ā leveragingĀ channel sales and marketingĀ
Work with channel partner training team to ensure alignment of enablement activity with the corporate training and certification curriculumĀ
Engage subject matter experts from the wider SE and PS teams to support the delivery of enablement activityĀ
Generate storage system-oriented reports and unsolicited proposal materials for channel partnersĀ
Solve routine to moderately complex problems; research questions using a variety of resourcesĀ
Follow standard Solution Center procedures;Ā identifyĀ and escalate situations requiringĀ additionalĀ expertiseĀ
Ā
What Will You Need to Succeed?Ā
Bachelorās degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science; or equivalent work experienceĀ· Multiple years of experience in the sales organization of an IT infrastructure vendor as a systems engineer or similar roleĀ
Preference given to individuals with AWS, Azure, or GCP foundational certificationsĀ
DemonstratedĀ expertiseĀ in the technical specificationsĀ requiredĀ to sell data center-based products and servicesĀ
Understanding of cloud deploymentĀ XaaSĀ modelĀ
Engaging and persuasive presentation skillsĀ
Strong interpersonal communication and relationship-building skillsĀ
Effective client management skillsĀ
Ability to successfully manage technical professionals; both direct and virtual leadership is preferredĀ
PreviousĀ sales experience strongly preferredĀ
Internal applicants must be exceeding metrics in current positionĀ

Compensation Range: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00Ā
