Reports to: Senior Operator
The PET Bottling Line Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining PET bottle production and filling equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing. This role supports production targets while following safety, sanitation, and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Operate PET bottling and packaging machinery, including:
- Bottle blow molding machines
- Filling machines
- Capping equipment
- Labeling systems
- Conveyors and packaging equipment
- Monitor production line performance and make adjustments as needed.
- Conduct startup, shutdown, and changeover procedures.
- Inspect bottles, caps, labels, and finished products for quality compliance.
- Maintain production records and downtime logs.
- Troubleshoot minor mechanical or operational issues.
- Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of equipment and work areas.
- Follow GMP, HACCP, food safety, and workplace safety procedures.
- Coordinate with maintenance and quality teams during production issues.
- Minimize product waste and improve operational efficiency.
- Ensure proper material handling and inventory usage.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in beverage, food, or packaging manufacturing is preferred.
- Knowledge of PET bottling systems and automated production equipment.
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read production schedules and operating instructions.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work shifts, weekends, and overtime if required.
