As a South Ogden Police Officer, you'll:

• Enforce local, state, and federal laws

• Respond to calls for service and assist those in need

• Conduct investigations, gather evidence, and testify in court

• Patrol neighborhoods to deter crime and build community trust

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Utah P.O.S.T. Basic Certification, P.O.S.T Certification within 3 months or ability to become P.O.S.T. certified

• Valid Utah driver's license with clean record

• Ability to pass an extensive background check and meet physical demands of the role

Preferred:

• College degree and prior law enforcement experience

The police officer salary range is $28.73 to $53.65 depending on qualifications and experience. New officers qualify for a $4,000 hiring bonus and our excellent benefits package!
